This country, for reasons that are obscure and murky at best, went to war over the Korean Penninsula. I think they were attempting to force the Koreans to take it back. Since I was rated Grade 1A prime, I chose to join the Navy. Spent the war on the ammunition ship U.S.S. Chara AKA-58 (later AE-31) wandering up and down the length of both coasts of Korea, handing out high explosive devices to those desiring them.
