Hi-Ho its off to work we go!

For Thirty Years, I wandered Silicon Valley seeking employment as best I could. Although I encountered many "black friday's", I never missed a paycheck. Consider my employers fate: Philco - gone. Control Systems Industries - Ch. 11. Ramtek - Ch. 11. Systems Control Inc. - Ch. 11. Ultek - gone. SRI International - finally recovering from near disaster. Unlike many others there, I never became rich. For one, I told Steve Jobs at a Homebrew Computer Club meeting at SLAC that no one was going to buy a computer named Apple. Sigh. The image is of the Bear at the console of a CDC-160A (less processing power than my original 128K Macintosh) showing the main output device, a Teletype Corp. BRPE paper tape punch. A far cry from today.
